Seeking Blog Post Writer (Preferably NCs Triangle Area)
We are a Durham-based digital advertising agency seeking the talents of a capable writer for client blog posts.
It is critical that our selected writer(s) meet the following criteria:
- writes with appropriate grammar (MLA or APA).
- can adhere to rules and instructions for the content (usually direction received from clients and/or SEO specialists).
- can produce a minimum of a blog post a week (at least 500 words).
- can quickly craft content for a variety of industries.
- writes with an "approachable" voice, and need not necessarily be a technical writer.
- adheres to strict rules regarding any photography or image content in posts.
Preferably, we'd like candidates to also be familiar with WordPress or other CMS platforms--but we are also open to training the right candidate. We also prefer candidates be local to the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, etc.); however, as this is a role that allows for work to be done remotely, we will consider candidates outside of North Carolina's Triangle area.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is not a full-time or part-time position as an employee. Instead, this role is offered as a contract position; whereas, the selected individual(s) will be paid as a contractor for the work produced.
Candidates must also be legally eligible to work in the United States, have consistent access to internet, and are responsible for their own technology (e.g. computer, Microsoft Office products like Word, etc.).
